Family Night

I wanted to share what I am doing with the kids tonight. With the election hours away, I read about an idea to help kids understand how neat it is to vote and that their opinion matters.

At family night we are nominating our favorite parts of dinner to be voted on tomorrow. I will make up ballots for everyone and they can drop them in a box throughout the day tomorrow. Then Wednesday we will make the winning main dish, side, veggie, drink and dessert.

I think it will be lots of fun and I'll report back on how it goes!
