We are probably going with a maple square box newel (post) like this...





but with our rails alternating between wood and iron like this...




I am so excited I can hardly stand it!! We should be getting started with the tile sometime on Wed which means we'd have a pretty kitchen in time for Easter. Yay!

    Wahoo for house improvements!! WE LOVE LOVE LOVE our railings if the bishop is doing it you will love it...I am not sure he does the wood and iron together. We will have to have out Catan game in your new and improved Kitchen!! ;)
